Ramayana is gearing up for its biggest box-office day yet, with the post-Diwali Monday expected to deliver a massive jump in collections. After collecting over ₹82 crore gross in India on Saturday, the film is now targeting a triple-digit day on November 9. The post-Diwali holiday traditionally attracts large family audiences, particularly in the Hindi-speaking markets, giving big releases an opportunity to register some of their highest single-day collections.
Advance bookings have further strengthened expectations, with the film reportedly heading towards ₹60 crore or more in India gross through pre-sales alone. Adding walk-in audiences to the tally could take its Day 5 collection beyond ₹100 crore. Meanwhile, the four-day extended opening weekend is expected to close at approximately ₹490 crore worldwide, comprising ₹275 crore from India and ₹215 crore from overseas markets.
The next two days could prove crucial for the film’s commercial prospects. Monday and Tuesday are expected to generate at least ₹300 crore gross worldwide combined, potentially providing the momentum needed to cross the ₹1,000 crore milestone. After an opening weekend that fell short of expectations, Ramayana now has an opportunity to make a significant comeback. However, the actual collections and audience turnout will determine whether these ambitious projections materialise.
